Rangers are continuing their impressive recruitment with the acquisition of Nikola Katic from Slaven Belupo for a fee in the region of £2 million.

Sky Sports understands the move is close to completion, with only a medial required before the 21-year-old defender becomes a Rangers player.

Katic has one cap for his country so far in his career.

Rangers are also chasing after Connor Goldson, with Sky Sports believing that a deal with Brighton is possible for a fee of roughly £3 million.
