Liverpool will "go for the jugular" tonight against Besiktas, says skipper Steven Gerrard.

Rafael Benitez's team virtually have to win their final three games in Group A to stay in the Champions League this season.

"We didn't make the most of our chances in Turkey and we won't make the same mistake at Anfield," said Gerrard. "We know one more slip will end our interest in the tournament and so we want to go for the jugular from the first whistle. We need another night like Juventus, Chelsea and Olympiakos. Our backs are against the wall but we know we can do it."
