The German FA waded in on a controversial topic, after commenting on a tackle in the game between Manchester City and Cardiff City.
There was an incident in the game where the Cardiff City player Joe Bennett committed a bit of a wild tackle on Leroy Sane.

Of course, Sane is a key player in the German squad that is hoping to win another World Cup in the summer. And the German FA made a comment about Bennett trying to injure the player, saying they would appreciate if he did not hurt any of their other players.

For his part, Joe Bennett has apologised on Twitter for the challenge, saying he was only trying to stop a counter attack, and his tackle was a little bit more reckless than he had wanted.
