Germany veteran Lukas Podolski has taken a cheeky swipe at the England national team.
The former Arsenal striker says that the German national team has gone for consistency in head coach Joachim Löw and it has paid off in recent years.
The 31-year-old, who will captain Germany against England in his last appearance for his nation, claims that the Three Lions always come short against his side.
Galatasaray's Podolski said: "The only thing I can say is that we have had a great coach for over 10 years and the consistency is very important.
"England have young promising players and they can get far in tournaments – as long as they don't face Germany!"
