Germany striker Mario Gomez is remaining calm following the sides winning start to Euro2012.

Die Mannschaft sit on top of the Group B table with six points from two matches (1-0 over Portugal and 2-1 over Holland) but Gomez, who has scored all three goals, knows there is plenty of work to do yet.

"We have won two games but we have not reached anything," Gomez told reporters.

"And we have been following the other games very closely. For example, Spain yesterday [against Ireland]. Our aim must be to defeat them."
