Germany interested in England friendly

Germany's general manager Oliver Bierhoff has revealed that the national team have plans to take on Brazil, England and Italy in friendlies this year.

Die Mannschaft have already organised a meeting with France as part of 2014 World Cup preparations but want to add an August clash with the Brazilians as well as November fixtures with the Three Lions and Azzurri.

"I'm delighted that we are going to be facing top nations again in our warm-up matches," Bierhoff said.

"France is just the beginning. In August, we are looking to play Brazil, and should we qualify directly for the 2014 World Cup, then we intend to play England and Italy in November."
