Germany coach Joachim Low has backed Mesut Ozil to move to Barcelona.
Barca are chasing the Werder Bremen star after being frustrated in their bid for Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas.
Asked about the prospect, Low said: "If he takes this step, I would say that playing in Barcelona is very special for a footballer."
