German legend Netzer questions whether Podolski could make it at Arsenal

German legend Gunter Netzer says FC Cologne star Lukas Podolski wouldn't be up to a move to Arsenal.

Arsenal have been linked with the Germany international.

"He is no player for a great European club," Netzer told Bild. "Even during his time at Bayern Munich he was missing clout and assertion.

"For Podolski it would be ideal if Cologne would increase their contract offer - that would provide him with better opportunities."
