Wolfsburg coach Felix Magath is not a fan of English football, citing Hamburg's 3-1 win over Manchester City in the UEFA Cup on Thursday. Hamburg have already beaten Aston Villa this year and Magath's Wolfsburg overcame Portsmouth, with Schalke suffering the only loss at the hands of Manchester City.

"I am not a fan of this discussion that the English play such great football," Magath said on Sat.1 television.

"HSV were clearly better. There was a difference in class. The only quick football you could see was from HSV."
