Gerhard Tremmel is chasing a new deal at Swansea City.

The German goalkeeper is inside the final 12 months of his current contract.

"If both parties are happy then of course I'd like to stay," said Tremmel. "But it's not just up to me, it's up to the club and the manager too.

"I'm sure we will have some talks in the near future. It's not my first contract so I'm aware of the situation. I know that if I perform well in the next month then it will help me."
