Geremi admits the expectation from Newcastle United fans is GREATER than what he experienced at Chelsea.

The Cameroon midfielder told the Evening Chronicle: "This is so different to being a Chelsea player.

"That's because at Newcastle the fans are around the club and city all of the time, and not just on a match day.

"When we play away they are with us.

"Before the game has started they are singing our names when we warm up.

"That's unique and that gives you a big boost. Unfortunately, we haven't won some games for them.

"Listening to them sing your name gives you so much motivation. You want to repay them - so hopefully we can by winning a trophy."
