Zoltan Gera has urged Fulham to make a new manager appointment quickly.
The Hungary midfielder has returned to preseason training this week with Roy Hodgson now having left for Liverpool.
Gera told fulhamfc.com: "Hopefully we'll get the new Manager in soon and achieve the same level of success over the next few seasons.
"The expectations for next season are high - we had a great season last year and if we could finish back in the top ten this season that would be perfect for us."
