Gera excited about West Brom return and Hodgson reunion

Off contract Fulham midfielder Zoltan Gera admits his Bosman move to West Bromwich Albion is all but done.

Gera, who played 155 times for Albion during his first spell at the club, revealed that the Baggies boss was key influence during his recent years.

"I admire and respect Roy Hodgson very much," Gera told the Birmingham Mail.

"He's one of the best coaches I've ever had.

"I want to regain my confidence and trust in football and I would be very happy to work with Roy Hodgson again.

"I am very happy about going back to West Brom - it's the club where I had my first success in England."
