Geovanni is eyeing a return to the Premier League.

The Daily Star says Geovanni is hunting for a new club in England after being ditched by San Jose Earthquakes.

The Brazil international playmaker, 30, helped the Earthquakes reach the MLS play-off semi-finals in his four-month spell in the United States.

Earthquakes general manager John Doyle said: "He is a great player but his impact on a day-to-day basis was not enough to warrant the high salary we were paying him."
