Geovani rejected Brazilian offers for new Hull deal

Geovanni is pleased with his new three-year contract at Hull City.

Former Barcelona and Benfica ace Geovanni, 29, joined on a free from Manchester City last year.

He was Hull's top scorer with eight goals last season and has already notched four this term.

Brazilians Botafogo, Fluminense and Flamengo are all keen on Geo, but he is not interested.

He said: "I see no reason for change. The future is bright at Hull. I have renewed my contract because of this. My family and children are very happy here."

Tigers manager Phil Brown said: "He has the X-factor that can win games. He has fitted in very nicely."
