Georginio Wijnaldum is determined to settle quickly at Newcastle United.

The winger has joined the Toon from PSV Eindhoven this summer.

Wijnaldum told the Evening Chronicle: “It will be good. When I was in Holland I always looked at all the games in England and wondered what it would be like. Now I will play the games for myself so I look forward to them.

“I hope the games go fast in pre-season so we can start with the Premier League."

He added: “The players are helping me but I must do it for myself. I work hard on it. We will see how much time I will need.

“I feel good already because I knew it was the right move."
