Serie A top scorer Diego Milito has continued his exellent form this season, scoring the winner in the derby against Sampdoria. Milito's 12th goal of the campaign. Milito, playing in his first derby match, was ecstatic with scoring the winning goal.

"It was very emotional and I am so happy, as we played well and won the derby. This is certainly a goal I will always remember, to score on my derby debut and win it is extraordinary."

Asked if he was disappointed at not receiving a call up to the Argentine national team by coach Diego Maradona, Milito expressed his patience with the scenario.

"Obviously everyone dreams of the national side, but there are many players vying for positions and I will wait for my chance."
