Genoa president Enrico Preziosi says Napoli must drop their asking price for defender Maurizio Domizzi.

"The deal has stalled," explained Preziosi. "The Azzurri are asking too high a price for Domizzi."

Napoli are believed to want £6m for the 27-year-old left back, who made 29 appearances for the Partenopei this season.

"We have not arrived at that figure," added Preziosi. "There is, however, still room for discussion. He will leave Napoli.

"He is an important player wanted by many clubs. We would love to take him, but it does not depend on us."
