Genoa are encouraging Crystal Palace to close a deal this morning for Tomas Rincon.

The Venezuela captain is expected to join Palace today for a fee in the region of €7 million.

Genoa are eager for Palace to settle terms this morning as they're in talks with Juventus over a replacement.

As soon as Rincon's move is rubberstamped, Genoa will use the cash raised to sign Juve midfielder Hernanes.

The Bianconeri have assured Genoa they can sign the Brazilian today for the right price.
