Genoa have released a statement thanking fans for their support during the derby win over Sampdoria.
It marked the club's first of the season:
"We thank the fans for their incessant and touching supports during the derby. We dedicate the victory to you.
"Those of you that were at the stadium, your voice, passion and heart for Genoa was overflowing."
