Genoa table bid for Palermo keeper Sirigu

Genoa have made an offer for Palermo goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu.

Sirigu has been linked with the Marassi outfit after he turned down the offer of a new contract in Sicily.

"It's something that died even before it was born," Genoa sporting director Stefano Capozucca told Palermo24.net.

"I spoke with Palermo director Sean Sogliano about him by offering Eduardo in exchange, but he tuned that down.

"At the moment there are no more channels for the talks to open again."

Palermo have offered the 'keeper a new deal which would see his current €250,000 a season wages double.

Sirigu has turned that offer down.
