Genoa striker Pietro Pellegri says he's proud of his 2017.

The teen has become a first-choice at Genoa this season, despite a change of coach.

He told TMW: "We were very unlucky at the start of the season with mister (Ivan) Juric, while now with (Davide) Ballardini we work on the field better and we bring more points home.

"We have a lot of goals on a collective level, and I have some personal goals, we want safety as soon as possible, while on a personal level I think I can do well and score a few more goals.

"My idol? (Zlatan) Ibrahimovic."
