Genoa striker Giuseppe Rossi still has hopes of an Italy recall.

Rossi has fought back from long-term knee injury this season.

“The Nazionale remains his dream, as is natural for every Italian player. I think once he has reached 100 per cent fitness, Giuseppe can still potentially be an outsider for the Italy squad," agent Federico Pastorello told Mediaset Premium.

“Your eyes light up when you watch him play, because nobody can doubt his class. He is slowly getting back in to shape physically and unfortunately his recovery process was slowed down by a muscular issue, but I think he can be an important figure for Genoa in the final weeks of the season."
