Genoa have signed Lecce defender Andrea Esposito.

"Esposito, who is 23 years old and already in Marcello Lippi's Nazionale, achieved a promotion into Serie A and two Primavera youth titles, has undergone his medical," read a note on the club website.

"The Rossoblu have agreed a deal with Lecce to sign up half of Esposito's contract in a co-ownership deal.

"After the contracts are signed and the transfer made official later today, he will join his new teammates for pre-season training in Piedmont this evening."
