Genoa are ready to send Argentine striker Lucho Figueroa away on-loan this season.

Figueroa has shown good form in preseason training and is recovering well from last season's knee surgery.

Genoa chiefs are eager for the former Birmingham City striker to play with continuity to maintain his progress and are keen to send him to another Italian club for at least until January.

With the likes of Adailton, Marco Di Vaio, Giuseppe Sculli and Marco Borriello on the books, Figueroa is unlikely to make an immediate impact should he stay with Genoa this season.
