Genoa president Enrico Preziosi says Italian football needs a stadium revolution. Preziosi warned the financial problems of Serie A sides lie in their stadiums.

Genoa president Enrico Preziosi says Italian football needs a stadium revolution.

Preziosi warned the financial problems of Serie A sides lie in their stadiums.

“We are behind the Bundesliga and Premier League in that respect, there’s no doubt. I too would love a stadium with a club museum, restaurants and other attractions. In Italy the stadium is used for 90 minutes once every 14 days and that is it.”
