Genoa president Enrico Preziosi says they're close to signing Bayern Munich striker Luca Toni.

Although there has also been interest from Napoli, it is clear that Marassi is his destination.

"Toni is 80 per cent likely to join Genoa," confirmed President Preziosi on Radio Radio TV.

"If he does arrive, then he'll score more goals than Milito. If the deal does not go through, then we will focus on Roma's Julio Baptista (Roma)."
