Genoa president Enrico Preziosi says their deal for Bordeaux midfielder Fernando Menegazzo isn't dead.

Bordeaux have insisted the Brazilian will remain with them beyond the January market.

But Preziosi said: "With Menegazzo we have already found an agreement, now expect to see what Bordeaux says. But if we cannot close it in a few days, then we'll forget it."
