Genoa president Enrico Preziosi insists no more sales will happen this month.
Earlier in January, Luca Toni and Andrea Ranocchia also left Genoa to join Juventus and Inter Milan respectively.
Reports that left-back Domenico Criscito could be the next star to leave the club, with AC Milan keen to acquire the Italy international's services, have further infuriated Genoa coach Davide Ballardini.
He said: "These stories affect the team.
"We need to clarify our transfer situation as soon as possible because at the end of the day, it does not help anyone.
"I need to know which players will be leaving and those that will stay."
Preziosi was quick to respond to his coach's concerns.
He said: "I made a mistake in the summer transfer window but I need time to make amends.
"I don't want to hear talk that the club is losing all of its talent.
"I can confirm that Criscito will not move away from Genoa until the end of the season."
