Genoa president Enrico Preziosi is holding fire on coach Davide Ballardini.

Ballardini is expected to be shown the door by Preziosi at the end of the season.

After defeat to Lazio, Preziosi said: "I said I'd shock you all, but the truth is I haven't decided yet.

"I will announce the name of the new Coach at the end of this season."
