Genoa president Preziosi hits out at Berlusconi Super League plans

Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has dismissed calls from AC Milan's Silvio Berlusconi for an Italian Super League to be formed only involving the nation's biggest drawing clubs.

"There is no way this proposal should go ahead," claimed the Genoa patron. "I don't understand how this Super League would be created.

"We are talking about something which needs to be organised for the long term, at least from five to eight years."
