Genoa president Enrico Preziosi insists goalkeeper Mattia Perin won't leave on the cheap.
The 21-year old was inspirational as he helped his side to a 0-0 draw with Fiorentina.
"He has proven himself to be a reliable goalkeeper," Preziosi said.
"He is our player, and we'll hold on to him. We know him, and we know what he thinks of our project this year.
"This is his third year playing in Serie A, and for a guy who is not yet 22, that's a lot of experience.
"However, I should say that we also have [Eugenio] Lamanna who is a reliable goalkeeper, and sooner or later, whether it's in one year or 10 he will get his chance too."
