Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has confirmed the capture of Atalanta striker Sergio Floccari.

After announcing the sales of Diego Milito and Thiago Motta to Inter Milan, Preziosi revealed: "He (Floccari) is no longer a boy, but he is very impressive. We've followed him from February.

"If we sell a player (Milito), it is not right to leave the money in your pocket."
