Genoa president Preziosi: Balotelli does not deserve World Cup place
Genoa president Enrico Preziosi insists Inter Milan striker Mario Balotelli hasn't done enough to warrant an Italy World Cup place.
Indeed, Preziosi says Palermo forward Fabrizio Miccoli deserves a call ahead of the Inter youngster.
“Mario is an extraordinary champion, but at times he is irritating,” Preziosi said. “I don't understand some of his behaviour on the pitch and yesterday I didn't like it either.
“I would take Miccoli to the World Cup instead."
