Genoa president Enrico Preziosi concedes they're likely to lose striker Diego Milito at the end of the season.
"Beyond the question of being a club symbol, there is also interest that means sometimes the player cannot refuse," said Preziosi.
"We have made a huge sacrifice to pay £2 million-a-year to Milito and we cannot compete with clubs that offer four, five or £6 million. In that case, it would be very difficult to keep him."
