Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has heaped praise on fellow Serie A new-boys Napoli.

"I've been surprised by how successful both clubs have been so far this season," Preziosi said before last night's defeat at Inter Milan.

"Napoli have bought very well. They haven't spent a lot, but have found quality players like Ezequiel Lavezzi, Walter Gargano, Marcelo Zalayeta, Manuele Blasi and Marek Hamsik, who is truly extraordinary."
