Genoa president Enrico Preziosi threatens to quit in Atalanta humiliation aftermath

Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has threatened to quit after their humiliation by Atalanta.

Preziosi was protested by angry fans following the 5-0 defeat.

“I saw what they wrote and what they have been saying," Preziosi told Sky Sport Italia.

“It is an expression of their dissatisfaction and I respect that. What angers me is personal insults aimed at my family.

“We hit rock bottom again today. This is our situation. If that's what the Genoa fans want, and their messages were clear, then I'll make them happy. We'll do what we have to do…

“They don't want Preziosi? Fine. Someone else will come. Good luck to whoever does arrive, but until then I will continue along my path.

“I will try to make the fans happy."
