Genoa ponder shock move for Flamengo star Ronaldinho

Flamengo star Ronaldinho is being linked with a return to Serie A.

The former AC Milan midfielder is a loan target for Genoa president Enrico Preziosi.

Ronaldinho has threatened to back out of Flamengo's trip to Bolivia for the Copa Libertadores in protest at the financial situation.

Corinthians remain the favourites to sign Dinho, but agent Roberto De Assis has hinted that Genoa have put forward an intriguing proposal.
