Genoa are planning a January raid for Valencia winger Joaquin.

The Spain international has complained about the lack of first team opportunities he's had at the Mestalla so far this season. Tuttosport says Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has discussed Joaquin's signing with coach Gian Piero Gasperini.

Having missed out on Inter Milan pair Amantino Mancini and Ricardo Quaresma in August, Preziosi is ready to go to Spain to land Joaquin on the recommendation of Gasperini.
