Genoa are moving Sunderland goalkeeper Vito Mannone.
The Sun says Genoa want Mannone to solve the Serie A club's injury crisis.
The mid-table side's number one Mattia Perin is out for the season with a torn ACL and the club have made contact with former Arsenal stopper as his immediate replacement.
Genoa's only other keeper is backup Eugenio Lamanna, who has barely played since joining the club in 2008 – and boss Ivan Juric wants to lure Mannone back to his homeland.
Mannone moved to England in 2005 to join Arsenal, where he played a handful of games, before finding success at Sunderland.
