Genoa are closing in on Inter Milan striker David Suazo.

The Honduras international is wanted by the likes of Catania, Livorno and Lazio, but Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has opened talks with Inter about a January deal.

Preziosi has assured Inter he will meet their asking price for Suazo if he finds a buyer for Sergio Floccari, who has struggled to make an impact since his summer arrival.

Fiorentina are monitoring Floccari's situation.
