Genoa midfielder Juraj Kucka has been ruled out for six months with a knee injury.

A statement published on Genoa's official website confirmed Kucka will be visited by specialist doctor Pierpaolo Mariani on Tuesday in order to establish a date for surgical intervention.

The 26-year-old Slovakian was forced off during Genoa's 2-1 defeat at Cagliari.
