Genoa goalkeeper Marco Amelia has completed his move to AC Milan.

Amelia had already struck a deal for the temporary switch, but it was made official last night.

Milan have him on loan until June 2011 with an option to buy the shot-stopper outright at the end of the season.

If they do take up the option, it will begin an automatic contract holding him to San Siro until 2013.
