Genoa go for Inter Milan keeper Viviano

Genoa are closing in on a deal for Inter Milan goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano.

La Repubblica says he will move to Marassi from Inter.

Viviano was only signed outright by Inter last week when they won a blind auction with Bologna, the club who owned 50 per cent of his contract.

With Julio Cesar already at the Stadio Meazza, the Italian international wants first team football rather than a reserve role at San Siro.

Having been linked with the likes of Arsenal, AS Roma and Liverpool, it appears that Genoa have won the race to sign him.
