Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has dropped their interest in Juventus midfielder Ruben Olivera.

"I've contacted the agent of Olivera, Paco Casal, and informed him that at this stage we do not want the lad," said Preziosi.

"It's a pity because I think he would be happy here, but his agent will probably take him back to Uruguay before selling him for a few million to a Spanish club."
