Genoa fullback Abdoulaye Konko is unhappy with Lazio's contract offer.
Although the two sides seem to have agreed a transfer fee, the capital outfit's contract offer to the player isn't satisfactory.
"There is a notable difference between the offer and what the player wants. The club need to make a bigger sacrifice, otherwise it will be tough to do a deal," agent Daniele Conte told Cittaceleste.
The representative held talks with Lazio last week, where it is understood that he asked for a salary of 1.3m a campaign.
"Yes, we are talking about a figure close to that," Conte added.
"If Lazio don't improve their offer then Konko will be staying at Genoa. He has a contract at Genoa for four years and is happy there.
"We are now waiting for Lazio President Claudio Lotito to get in touch and set up a new meeting. At the minute, nothing is happening."
