Genoa are facing frustration in their bid for Napoli attacker Edu Vargas.

The Marassi outfit have been trying to land the Chilean who is not guaranteed first team football in Naples.

"Napoli haven't found a new striker so they won't be letting go of Vargas," Rossoblu President Enrico Preziosi told Radio Kiss Kiss. "He was part of our plans."
