Genoa are demanding a swap deal to sell Rodrigo Palacio to Inter Milan.
The Argentine is highly admired by Inter coach Gian Piero Gasperini, who wants to bring him to the San Siro this summer.
Genoa president Enrico Preziosi is prepared to sell, but wants Inter to include goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano and McDonald Mariga in their offer.
Viviano is up for moving to Genoa, while Mariga is also interesting Napoli.
