Genoa remain locked in talks with Bordeaux over a deal for midfielder Fernando Menegazzo.
Bordeaux have rejected a £1 million offer from Genoa for the Brazilian, but the two clubs were again in talks yesterday over the player's valuation.
Menegazzo settled personal terms with Genoa well before Christmas.
