Italy U21 striker Robert Acquafresca is set to wear the colours of Atalanta next season.

After being sold by Inter Milan to Genoa at the end of last season, Acquafresca made it clear he didn't want to stay with his new club.

Despite interest from Fulham and West Ham, Genoa president Enrico Preziosi revealed: "We have reached an agreement to loan Acquafresca to Atalanta.

"If one day the likes of AC Milan or Napoli wanted to sign him, it would be up to the player to decide."
